1. Acceptance of Terms
Green Corporate Club ("GCC") is a trade name operated by Network of Indian Environment Professionals, LLC ("NIEP, LLC"), a Virginia limited liability company. By accessing or using GCC ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, members, and GIP sellers.
What GCC is. GCC is an AI-assisted regulatory research and community platform for sustainability professionals. It is not a law firm, audit firm, engineering firm, or licensed professional services provider. The platform helps members research the regulations that govern their work, share methodologies as Green Intelligence Packets, and connect through a directory and weekly briefings. All actionable decisions about compliance, engineering, financial planning, or legal exposure remain the responsibility of the member and their qualified professional advisors.
2. Membership
Free (Explorer). Free accounts are provided as-is with no guarantee of availability. We may modify free tier features with reasonable notice.
Paid tiers (Associate, Professional, Ecopreneur, Green Team). Subscriptions are billed monthly from the date of first payment. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months. We recommend testing the platform on the free Explorer tier before subscribing — Explorer access does not expire and includes AI Coach Asks at no cost.
2A. Green Team Seats
Seat allocation. Green Team subscriptions include 3 seats (1 owner + 2 invited members). The account owner invites members by email through the dashboard. Invited members receive Green Team tier access immediately upon invitation.
Onboarding call. Green Team subscriptions include a complimentary 30-minute onboarding call within 24 hours of payment confirmation. We use the phone number you provide at signup solely to schedule and conduct this initial onboarding call (typically to set up seat invitations, configure your Corporate Command Centre, and answer questions). By providing your phone number at signup, you consent to receive this single onboarding call from GCC. Your phone number will not be used for marketing, will not be shared with any third party, and may be deleted from your team record on request after the call.
Pooled credits. All 3 seats share a single pool of 3,000 AI Asks per month. The owner is responsible for managing pool usage across their team. Unused pooled Asks do not roll over. Top-up Asks purchased by the owner are also shared across the pool.
Owner responsibilities. The account owner is responsible for: (i) ensuring invited members comply with these Terms; (ii) the actions of all team members on the platform; (iii) managing and revoking access when team members leave the organisation.
Removal and cancellation. When the owner removes a team member, or when the owner's subscription is cancelled, affected members revert to the free Explorer tier with 15 Asks/month. No data loss occurs — career scans, Navigator profiles, and purchased GIPs are retained on the member's individual account.
Company branding. Green Team owners may set a company name that appears on GIPs created by their team (see Section 4d). The owner warrants they are authorised to use the company name. GCC does not verify company registration or trading authority.
Usage visibility. The team owner can see each member's name, email address, and monthly Ask usage count. The owner cannot see conversations, career scores, venture scores, Navigator results, or any other personal data.
2B. University & Nonprofit Pricing
Eligibility. A 25% discount on all membership tiers is available to individuals who register with a qualifying email domain: .edu, .ac.*, or .org. The discount is applied automatically at checkout based on email domain detection. GCC does not independently verify enrolment status, employment, or nonprofit registration. You represent that you are a current student, faculty member, employee, or authorised representative of the institution associated with your email address.
University programme. Individual students and faculty sign up with their university email for the 25% discount. University educators may apply to become Academic Partners through the university page; approved Academic Partners receive complimentary Professional-tier access subject to the Academic Partner Terms (Section 14). Academic Partnership is granted at GCC's sole discretion, requires a commitment to use GCC in coursework, and may be revoked per Section 14.8. Institutions may enquire about bulk sponsorship for student cohorts at enhanced institutional rates (up to 40% off) by contacting us.
Nonprofit programme. Individuals at nonprofits, NGOs, and social enterprises sign up with their organisation email (.org or equivalent) for the 25% discount. The nonprofit programme is separate from the university programme — each has its own page and request forms. Nonprofit teams may request Green Team access at institutional rates (up to 40% off) by submitting a team access request through the nonprofit page.
Discount priority. Only one discount may be applied per checkout. During the launch period, the FOUNDING50 discount (50% off for 6 months) takes priority over the 25% education/nonprofit discount because it offers a larger saving. After the FOUNDING50 period expires or if FOUNDING50 is not used, the 25% discount applies automatically for qualifying email domains. Institutional bulk discounts (up to 40%) are negotiated separately and replace the standard 25% rate.
Misuse. Using a qualifying email domain you are not entitled to use, or sharing institutional access credentials, is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
2C. GIP Publishing Fee (Non-Subscribers)
What it is. Free (Explorer) tier members who wish to build and publish a Green Intelligence Packet without subscribing to a paid membership can purchase a one-time GIP Publishing Fee ($20 at current pricing). This grants access to the full 10-stage Dr. Aria GIP pipeline and 50 bonus AI Asks (top-up credits that never expire).
What it does not include. The publishing fee does not upgrade your membership tier. You remain on the free Explorer tier with its standard 15 monthly Asks. The 50 bonus Asks are added as top-up credits on top of your monthly allowance. You do not receive access to paid-tier features such as persistent career profiles, weekly intelligence briefs, or the Directory.
GIP limits. Publishing fee users may build one GIP at a time. Paid members (Associate and above) also build one at a time. Ecopreneur members may build unlimited concurrent GIPs.
Refund policy. The publishing fee is non-refundable once Dr. Aria has commenced the pipeline (i.e. once you begin Stage 1). The 50 bonus Asks are non-refundable once granted.
Revenue and payouts. Publishing fee users receive the same 80% of net revenue as paid members on GIP sales. Payouts are processed via the same methods (bank transfer, PayPal, or Wise) with the same $50 minimum payout threshold.
3. AI Coach Usage
AI Coaches provide information and guidance only — not legal, financial, engineering, or professional advice. Always verify outputs with a qualified professional before making compliance or investment decisions. GCC is not liable for decisions made based on AI Coach responses.
Navigator Readiness Scans. Navigator scans (PRAMAAN, CSRD, ISO 14001, BRSR, EUDR, NOVA DC, Carbon Credits, BEE PAT, and future engines) use the same AI technology as Coaches. Readiness scores, gap analyses, action plans, and AI-drafted documents are AI-assisted preparation guidance only — not certification assessments, compliance audits, or regulatory opinions. Results may contain inaccuracies. Always verify requirements with your statutory auditor, qualified consultants, and relevant regulatory authorities. GCC does not guarantee audit outcomes or regulatory approval.
Career Scan and Green Skills Score. The Green Skills Score (/100) and all career scan outputs (gap analysis, 90-day roadmap, skill breakdown) are AI-assisted tools for personal career development only — not certified professional assessments, employment qualifications, or guarantees of employability. Scores are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. Do not represent your Green Skills Score as a formal credential or certified qualification to employers.
Green CV Transformer. The Green CV Transformer generates a rewritten draft of your CV using AI. The output is a starting point for your own review and editing — not a finalised professional document. GCC does not warrant that the transformed CV is accurate, complete, or appropriate for any specific role or employer. You are responsible for verifying all content before sending to employers. Do not include false or misleading information in CVs sent to employers regardless of AI suggestions.
Career Share Links. When you enable a career share link, a public page displaying your Green Skills Score and career identity statement becomes accessible via a unique URL. You are responsible for the content of your career identity statement. GCC is not liable for how third parties interpret or use your shared score. You can revoke your share link at any time from your Career tab.
Monthly credit allowances are as stated in your membership tier. Unused Asks do not roll over. Top-up Asks do not expire. Credits are non-refundable once purchased.
4. Green Intelligence Packets (GIPs)
4a. Buyers. GIPs are purchased as digital products. All sales are final. GCC does not guarantee specific outcomes. You are responsible for verifying that any GIP is appropriate for your specific regulatory jurisdiction, facility type, and operational context before implementation. Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user licence to use the GIP for your own professional purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicence, publicly share, or make derivative works of a GIP without the seller's written permission. Sharing GIP content within a team is permitted only for Green Team subscribers and limited to their authorised seats.
4b. Individual Sellers. By listing a GIP you represent and warrant that: (i) you are the sole creator and owner of the methodology or have full authority to licence it; (ii) the content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, trade secret, patent, copyright, or confidential information; (iii) the content does not include client-specific data, proprietary client information, or personally identifiable information belonging to third parties; and (iv) you have not included any information subject to a non-disclosure agreement owed to any third party. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GCC, its officers, and its agents from any third-party claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your breach of these warranties or any infringement claim involving your GIP content. You receive 80% of net revenue (gross sale minus payment processing fees) on each sale. GCC retains 20% of net as a platform fee. Payment processing fees are charged by Stripe and deducted before the 80/20 split. The GIP publishing fee ($20 for non-subscribers) is non-refundable once Dr. Aria has commenced the pipeline.
4c. Corporate and Team Sellers. Where a GIP is created by an employee or agent on behalf of an organisation: (i) the authorised representative warrants they have full authority to bind their organisation and that the methodology is owned by the organisation; (ii) the organisation confirms the methodology does not include client-specific data, client proprietary processes, active regulatory submission drafts, or any information subject to a confidentiality obligation owed to a third party; (iii) GIP revenue is paid to the registered account holder — organisations are solely responsible for ensuring revenue is correctly allocated under their own internal agreements; (iv) if the GIP creator leaves the organisation, revenue continues to the registered account holder — GCC will not adjudicate IP ownership disputes between employers and employees; (v) organisations acknowledge that AI Coach conversations pass through Anthropic's API — do not input client confidential data or trade secrets during GIP development; (vi) GCC strongly recommends organisations obtain independent legal review before publishing methodologies derived from proprietary internal processes.
4d. Corporate Attribution. Green Team members may display their organisation name as the GIP publisher. GCC displays attribution as provided and does not verify company registration, trading status, or authorisation claims. GCC accepts no liability for false or unauthorised attribution.
4e. AI Research-Backed GIPs. AI Research-Backed GIPs were authored by GCC AI Coaches and cross-referenced against named primary sources. GCC does not warrant that content is complete, current, or free from error. Buyers must verify against the latest official sources before implementation or regulatory submission. AI-authored GIPs do not constitute legal, engineering, or environmental advice.
4f. No Professional Advice. No GIP — whether AI-authored, community-built, or corporate-published — constitutes legal, engineering, regulatory, or professional advice. Where physical measurement, licensed engineering sign-off, or formal regulatory submission is required, engage a qualified licensed professional. GCC is not liable for regulatory penalties, enforcement actions, or operational losses arising from GIP implementation.
4g. IP Scan, Review, and Removal. All GIPs pass through an IP and data safety review during the Dr. Aria pipeline. This review is an automated assistance tool — it is not a substitute for legal review. GCC reserves the right to reject, delist, or permanently remove any GIP at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: suspected copyright infringement, third-party complaints, regulatory risk, quality concerns, reputational risk to GCC, or at GCC's sole commercial discretion. Removal does not entitle the seller to a refund of the publishing fee. Existing buyers retain access to previously purchased copies. GCC will make reasonable efforts to notify the seller of removal and the reason, but is not obligated to do so in cases involving legal risk or third-party complaints.
4h. Primary Sources. Each GCC-authored GIP includes a primary sources reference list. Community and corporate GIPs must cite at least one named regulation, standard, or technical reference per methodology step.
4i. All Sales Final. GIPs are digital products. All sales are final and non-refundable.
4A. Forge Venture Scoring & Investment Readiness Score
Nature of the IRS. The Investment Readiness Score (/40) generated by Forge is an AI-assisted analytical tool — not an investment recommendation, valuation, due diligence report, or professional assessment. The IRS reflects Forge's analysis of the information you provide against publicly available regulatory intelligence. It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or an endorsement of your venture by GCC.
Your responsibilities. You represent that: (i) the venture description or pitch deck you submit is your own work or you have authorisation to submit it; (ii) you will not include client-confidential data, trade secrets belonging to third parties, or material subject to non-disclosure agreements; (iii) you understand that IRS scores are informational only and should not be the sole basis for investment, hiring, or business decisions.
Data handling. Venture descriptions are transmitted to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Professional tier and above: structured venture profiles (score, dimensions, gaps, roadmap, and a 500-character excerpt) are stored securely as part of your account. Free and Associate tiers: venture results are stored locally on your device only — not on our servers. A free account (email + name) is created in Redis. You can delete your venture profile at any time from your Command Centre.
Shared pitch links. Ecopreneur members may generate shareable links to their pitch summary. Shared pages display your IRS score, 8 dimensions, sector, stage, and strengths only. They never display your raw pitch text, identified gaps, coaching conversations, or email address. You can revoke any shared link instantly. GCC is not responsible for any use a third party makes of information accessed through a shared link while it was active.
No liability. GCC is not liable for: (i) investment or funding decisions made on the basis of IRS scores; (ii) the accuracy of regulatory intelligence cited by Forge; (iii) any loss arising from reliance on Forge's gap analysis or roadmap; or (iv) any third-party actions taken based on shared pitch links. Always consult qualified legal, financial, and business advisors before making investment or fundraising decisions.
4B. Expert Review Service
What it is. The Expert Review is a one-time paid service ($149 at current pricing) in which a GCC Verified Consultant independently reviews your Navigator Submission Pack and provides written feedback. The consultant is an independent professional — not a GCC employee. GCC facilitates the introduction and payment processing but does not perform, supervise, or guarantee the review itself.
Data sharing. When you purchase an Expert Review, GCC shares the following with the assigned consultant: your name, email address, Navigator engine, readiness score, pathway, gap count, document count, and (when applicable) your Submission Pack contents. By purchasing an Expert Review, you consent to this data sharing. Consultants are contractually bound to confidentiality under Section 12.6 of these Terms.
Refund policy. If no consultant is assigned within 7 calendar days of payment, you are entitled to a full refund. Once a consultant has been assigned and has begun the review, the payment is non-refundable. If a consultant fails to deliver feedback within 7 calendar days of assignment, GCC will either reassign to another consultant or issue a full refund at your choice.
Quality disputes. If you believe a review does not meet the minimum quality standard (substantive, specific, and actionable feedback addressing your gaps and documents), email hello@greencorporateclub.com within 14 days of receiving the feedback. GCC will review the dispute and may, at its sole discretion, request a revision from the consultant, assign a new reviewer at no additional cost, or issue a partial or full refund.
Ratings. After receiving feedback, you may rate the review from 1 to 5 stars with an optional comment. Ratings are visible to GCC administrators and may affect future consultant assignments. Ratings are final once submitted and cannot be edited. GCC reserves the right to remove ratings that contain defamatory, abusive, or irrelevant content.
Limitation of liability. GCC's total liability for any Expert Review shall not exceed the review fee paid ($149 at current pricing). GCC is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or consequences of the consultant's feedback. The Expert Review is preparation guidance — not a certification assessment, compliance audit, or regulatory opinion. All liability for compliance decisions rests with you.
5. Intellectual Property
All GCC platform content, branding, and AI Coach system architecture is owned by Green Corporate Club. Members and organisations retain ownership of GIP content they create. By listing a GIP you grant GCC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, promote, and distribute your GIP to buyers for the duration of its listing. GCC does not acquire ownership of your methodology. You may delist your GIP at any time; removal does not affect existing purchaser licences. AI Coach outputs generated during the GIP pipeline are a tool to assist your creation — ownership of the final GIP rests with the submitting member or organisation.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use GCC to: share access credentials outside your authorised team seats; attempt to circumvent Ask limits or rate limits; submit GIP methodologies containing false or client-confidential information without authorisation; harass other members; scrape platform content; use AI Coaches to generate outputs for commercial resale outside the GIP framework; or input active client regulatory submissions or commercially sensitive trade secrets into AI Coaches. Green Team accounts are limited to 3 authorised users — sharing login credentials beyond your seat count is a breach of these terms.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension without refund of any unused subscription period.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (i) GCC's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from membership or platform use shall not exceed the amount you paid to GCC in the three months preceding the claim; (ii) GCC's total liability in connection with any GIP shall not exceed the purchase price of that GIP; (iii) GCC is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages including lost profits, regulatory penalties, enforcement actions, or reputational harm; (iv) GCC is not liable for IP disputes arising between corporate GIP sellers and their employees, contractors, or clients; (v) GCC is not liable for losses arising from a buyer's failure to verify GIP content before implementation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Governing Law
These terms constitute an agreement between you and Network of Indian Environment Professionals, LLC d/b/a Green Corporate Club, a Virginia limited liability company. They are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Virginia, USA.
9. Copyright Infringement & DMCA Takedown
9a. Safe Harbor. GCC operates as an online platform that hosts user-generated content (Green Intelligence Packets). GCC does not review every GIP for copyright compliance prior to listing. GCC qualifies for safe harbor protection under 17 U.S.C. § 512 (the Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions, provided we respond to valid takedown notices promptly.
9b. DMCA Takedown Procedure. If you believe a GIP or other content on GCC infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at
hello@greencorporateclub.com with subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" containing: (i) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (ii) identification of the infringing material and its location on GCC (URL or GIP ID); (iii) your contact information (name, address, email, phone); (iv) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (v) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf; and (vi) your physical or electronic signature.
9c. Designated Agent. Network of Indian Environment Professionals, LLC d/b/a Green Corporate Club, Attn: Copyright Agent, email:
hello@greencorporateclub.com.
9d. Response. Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, GCC will: (i) promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material; (ii) notify the seller who posted the content; and (iii) provide the seller an opportunity to submit a counter-notification. If the seller submits a valid counter-notification and the complainant does not file a court action within 14 business days, GCC may restore the content.
9e. Counter-Notification. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to the address above containing: (i) identification of the removed material and its former location; (ii) a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; (iii) your name, address, and phone number; (iv) consent to jurisdiction in the federal courts of the Eastern District of Virginia; and (v) your physical or electronic signature.
9f. Repeat Infringers. GCC will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of members who are repeat copyright infringers. A member who receives two or more valid DMCA takedown notices will have their account suspended and their ability to publish GIPs permanently revoked. Previously purchased GIPs by that seller will remain accessible to existing buyers but will be removed from the marketplace.
9g. No Obligation to Monitor. GCC has no obligation to monitor user-generated content for infringement. The IP scan performed by Dr. Aria during the GIP pipeline (Section 4g) is an automated assistance tool and does not constitute a legal review, copyright clearance, or guarantee of non-infringement. The seller bears sole responsibility for ensuring their content is lawfully publishable.
9h. Copyrighted Standards. Many regulatory standards referenced in GIPs (including ISO, EN, BIS, IEC, and ASHRAE standards) are copyrighted by their issuing bodies. GIPs may reference, summarise, and explain the requirements of these standards but must not reproduce substantial portions of copyrighted standard text. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their GIPs comply with the copyright policies of referenced standard-setting organisations. GCC is not liable for infringement claims arising from a seller's reproduction of copyrighted standard text.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify members by email and post the updated version here with a new date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Verified Consultant Terms
The following additional terms apply to members who are granted Verified Consultant status on GCC. By accepting the Consultant Terms (via the application form or admin invitation), you agree to all clauses below in addition to the general Terms & Conditions above.
12.1 Role & Scope. As a GCC Verified Consultant, you provide independent professional review of Navigator Submission Packs prepared by GCC members. You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of GCC. You set your own schedule within the response time commitments described below. GCC does not direct how you perform reviews — only that they meet the quality standards specified.
12.2 Revenue Split. For each Expert Review assignment you complete, you receive 70% of the review fee paid by the member ($104.30 of $149.00 at current pricing). GCC retains 30%. Pricing may change with 30 days' written notice; changes apply only to new assignments after the notice period. The revenue split (70/30) is fixed for the duration of your consultant status unless both parties agree in writing to modify it.
12.3 Response Time. You must complete each assigned review within 48 hours of receiving the assignment notification email. If you cannot meet this deadline, notify GCC within 12 hours of assignment so we can reassign. Repeated failures to meet the 48-hour SLA (more than 2 missed deadlines in any 60-day period) may result in suspension or termination of consultant status.
12.4 Quality Standards. Each review must include: (a) substantive written feedback of at least 100 characters addressing the member's specific gaps and documents; (b) professional, constructive language; (c) specific actionable recommendations tied to the relevant regulatory framework. Generic or copy-paste feedback is grounds for withholding payment and reassignment. If a member rates a review 1 or 2 stars, GCC may request a revision at no additional cost or refund the member and withhold your payout for that review. Rating disputes: if you believe a low rating is unfair or retaliatory, email hello@greencorporateclub.com within 14 days with the review ID and your rationale. GCC will review both the feedback quality and the rating, and may override the rating for payout purposes at its sole discretion. Rating overrides do not change the public rating.
12.5 Payouts. Payouts are processed manually via bank transfer (ACH/wire), PayPal, or Wise. Payouts are issued within 14 calendar days of review completion, contingent on member confirmation (rating) or 7-day auto-confirmation if the member does not rate. A payout statement with breakdown is emailed to you for each payment. GCC reserves the right to withhold payment for reviews that do not meet quality standards (Section 12.4) or where a dispute has been raised by the member.
12.6 Confidentiality. Submission Packs contain proprietary member data including readiness scores, gap analyses, and drafted compliance documents. You must not share, copy, distribute, or retain any member data beyond what is necessary to complete the assigned review. All member data must be deleted from your systems within 30 days of completing a review. You must not contact members directly outside of the GCC platform for commercial purposes related to the review.
12.7 Liability & Indemnification. Your review feedback is your professional opinion, not a GCC service. GCC is not liable for the content, accuracy, or consequences of your review feedback. You are solely responsible for the professional quality and accuracy of your work. You agree to indemnify GCC against any claims arising from your review feedback. GCC carries no professional indemnity insurance on your behalf — you are encouraged to maintain your own professional liability coverage.
12.8 Intellectual Property. You retain ownership of your original written feedback. By uploading feedback to GCC, you grant GCC a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and share your feedback with the member who requested the review. GCC will not publish your feedback publicly or share it with third parties without your consent.
12.9 Termination. Either party may terminate the consultant relationship with 30 days' written notice by email. GCC may terminate immediately (without notice) for: (a) fraud or misrepresentation; (b) breach of confidentiality; (c) repeated quality failures; (d) conduct that damages GCC's reputation. Upon termination, outstanding payouts for completed reviews will be paid within 30 days. Your consultant badge, directory listing, and Navigator visibility will be removed within 24 hours of termination.
12.10 Tax Obligations. You are responsible for all tax obligations arising from payments received from GCC. GCC does not withhold taxes on consultant payouts. If required by your jurisdiction, you agree to provide any necessary tax documentation (e.g., W-9 for US-based consultants, invoices for international consultants). GCC will issue 1099 forms where required by US tax law.
12.11 Disputes. Any dispute arising from the consultant relationship shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA. The parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any formal proceedings.
12.12 Amendments. GCC may amend these Consultant Terms with 30 days' written notice by email. Continued acceptance of review assignments after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the amended terms. If you do not agree to the amendments, you may terminate per Section 12.9.
13. Founding Fellowship Terms
The following terms apply to members who are designated as Founding Fellows of Green Corporate Club. By accepting Fellowship status, you agree to all clauses below in addition to the general Terms & Conditions above.
13.1 Nature of Fellowship. Fellowship is a personal recognition of professional expertise in sustainability, environmental management, or related fields. It does not create an employment, advisory, agency, fiduciary, or governance relationship between the Fellow and GCC, its owners, or its affiliates. Fellows have no decision-making authority over GCC operations, strategy, or policies. Fellowship does not constitute appointment to any board, committee, or advisory body.
13.2 Individual Capacity. Fellows participate in their individual professional capacity. Fellowship does not represent, imply, or constitute endorsement by the Fellow's employer, institution, or any other organisation with which the Fellow is affiliated. Fellows shall not represent GCC Fellowship as an institutional endorsement or partnership without GCC's prior written consent. GCC will not use a Fellow's employer or institutional name in marketing materials without the Fellow's explicit permission.
13.3 Complimentary Membership. Founding Fellows receive complimentary Ecopreneur-tier membership for the duration of their Fellowship. This benefit is non-transferable and has no cash value. If Fellowship is revoked or the Fellow resigns, the complimentary membership ends at the close of the current billing period. Fellows who independently maintain a paid subscription retain that subscription regardless of Fellowship status.
13.4 Trusted Mentor Status. Founding Fellows are automatically granted Trusted Mentor status, which permits hosting Office Hours sessions and mentoring other members. Fellows are not obligated to host sessions or participate in any specific activities. All mentoring is voluntary and provided in the Fellow's personal professional capacity.
13.5 Public Profile. Fellows may be featured on the GCC website, including the homepage, membership page, and event materials, with their name, professional title, and biography as provided by the Fellow. Photo display, company name, and LinkedIn profile link are optional and require the Fellow's consent. Fellows may request removal or modification of their public profile at any time by contacting hello@greencorporateclub.com.
13.6 No Compensation. Fellowship is an honorary designation. Fellows do not receive monetary compensation, equity, revenue share, or any financial benefit from GCC beyond the complimentary membership described in Section 13.3. The complimentary membership benefit is valued at the then-current monthly rate of the Ecopreneur tier and may need to be reported as a gift or benefit under applicable tax or employment laws. The Fellow is solely responsible for any disclosure obligations to their employer or tax authority.
13.7 Intellectual Property. Content created by Fellows within the GCC platform (GIPs, bulletin contributions, Office Hours recordings, forum posts) is subject to the same intellectual property terms as all members under Sections 4 and 5. Fellowship does not grant GCC any additional rights to the Fellow's pre-existing intellectual property, professional reputation, or personal brand.
13.8 Revocation. GCC may revoke Fellowship at any time, with or without cause, by written notice to the Fellow's registered email address. Common grounds for revocation include, but are not limited to: conduct that damages GCC's reputation, violation of these Terms, extended inactivity (12+ months without platform engagement), or the Fellow's request. Upon revocation, all Fellowship benefits cease, and the Fellow's public profile is removed within 7 days. The Fellow's member account and any content they created remain intact under standard membership terms.
13.9 Resignation. A Fellow may resign their Fellowship at any time by emailing hello@greencorporateclub.com. Resignation takes effect within 7 days. The Fellow may continue as a regular member under any tier they choose to maintain.
13.10 Liability. GCC makes no representations about the professional qualifications, regulatory standing, or expertise of any Fellow. The inclusion of a Fellow's profile on the GCC platform is not a professional endorsement, credential verification, or guarantee of competence. Members who engage with Fellows through Office Hours, events, or other interactions do so at their own professional judgment.
13.11 Amendments. GCC may amend these Fellowship Terms with 30 days' written notice by email. If a Fellow does not agree to the amendments, they may resign per Section 13.9.
14. Academic Partner Terms
The following terms apply to members who are designated as Academic Partners of Green Corporate Club. By accepting Academic Partner status, you agree to all clauses below in addition to the general Terms & Conditions above.
14.1 Nature of Partnership. Academic Partnership is a personal recognition extended to individual educators who use GCC as a teaching or research tool. It does not constitute an institutional partnership, endorsement, licensing agreement, or affiliation between GCC and any university, college, or educational institution. GCC will not represent or imply that any university endorses, sponsors, or is formally affiliated with GCC without separate written authorisation from that institution.
14.2 Individual Capacity. Academic Partners participate in their individual professional capacity as educators and researchers. The decision to use GCC in coursework is the Academic Partner's own professional judgment and does not bind their institution. Academic Partners shall not represent GCC as an institutionally approved or mandated tool without their institution's authorisation.
14.3 Complimentary Membership. Academic Partners receive complimentary Professional-tier membership for the duration of their partnership. This benefit is non-transferable and has no cash value. If partnership is revoked or the partner resigns, the complimentary membership ends at the close of the current billing period. Partners who independently maintain a paid subscription retain that subscription regardless of partnership status.
14.4 Student Access. Students of Academic Partners may register for GCC using their educational email addresses and access Explorer-tier features at no cost. GCC does not collect student data beyond standard registration information (name, email). Academic Partners are responsible for informing students that GCC is a third-party platform and that use is voluntary. GCC's standard Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy apply to all student accounts.
14.5 No Academic Credit. GCC does not grant, certify, or represent academic credit, continuing education units, professional certifications, or any credential recognised by educational accreditation bodies. Scan results, readiness scores, and AI Coach outputs are informational tools, not academic assessments. Any academic credit associated with GCC usage is solely at the discretion of the Academic Partner and their institution.
14.6 Public Profile. Academic Partners may be listed in the GCC Member Directory with an Academic Partner badge.
